Since 1996 we have had the opportunity to support many charitable groups in Windsor-Essex. We proudly support community based organizations and celebrates charities that help our community. We are proud lead sponsors of the local charities we partner with on a regular basis because we care about improving and creating a community in which we are all proud to be a part of.

Amherstburg Bike Rodeo

We are proud to partner with the Amherstburg Police for the Amherstburg Bike Rodeo.  This is a bike safety event offered to our community to teach children how to ride safely and to learn and practice safe cycling skills.



As a COMMUNITY PARTNER with VON Windsor-Essex, Families First is proud to support education and awareness in  Windsor-Essex.

Families First is the main sponsor for the "Cruiser Cares Bears" program with the Windsor Police.  This program brings comfort to children by providing a bear during emergency and non-emergency police calls.

Families First is proud to partner with The Hopsice of Windsor & Essex County to provide an education series volunteers, patients, families, caregivers, PSWS & health care professionals.

WINDSOR GOODFELLOW GOLF CLASSIC

The Windsor Goodfellows Club has been a cherished part of this community for over 100 years. Supported entirely through donations and receiving no government grants, the Windsor Goodfellows provides thousands of area families with assistance and support throughout the year, including a food bank, school breakfast programs, children’s footwear program, and much more.

We are the event sponsor of the Annual Windsor Goodfellows Golf Classic which in recent years has raised over $30,000.

THE BREAKFAST PROGRAM

We are proud lead sponsors of the Windsor Goodfellows Families First Breakfast Program which provides breakfast for more than 1,800 children locally, each and every day.
The Breakfast Program is sponsored by Families First, facilitated by the Windsor Goodfellows, and made possible by individual volunteers within the surrounding communities.
The Program offers breakfast to all students through Windsor Goodfellows from 8:00 am until 8:45 am every morning. Any food that is left over is then used for snacks at recess or at lunch time.On average, the Breakfast Program serves breakfast each school day to 1100 students.
Students often have choices such as:
    •    A variety of cold cereals
    •    Pancakes
    •    Toast with peanut butter & jam
    •    Bagels with cream cheese
    •    In addition to a choice of juice or milk
