John was an active member at St. John the Baptist Church and worked as a pastoral care minister for 12 years. A proud member of the Lay Basilian Fathers. He retired from Ontario Hydro after 34 years of dedicated service. Being very community orientated John not only formed the choir at the Giuseppe Verdi Club in Amherstburg but was also a past president as well. John was an honorary 4th degree Knights of Columbus member.
