Passed away peacefully at 90 years of age, on April 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Dear daughter of the late Winnifred and Alexander Wilson. Adored wife of the late Leo. Cherished mother of Patrick (Lynn), Judy Glen (Bob), Peggy Bornais, Mark (Pauline), Bruce (Phyllis), Chris (Darlene), Sheila Duguay (Steve), Marnie Hamilton (Rick), Paul (Kelly), Kevin (Ann), and Barbara Blais (Sam). Loving grandma to 35, great-grandma to 49 and great-great-grandma to 3. Sister of the late Barbara Fraser. Loving sister-in-law and best friend to Mollie Charron. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Jean was so many things to so many. Jean has lived at the Village of Aspen Lake for the past 6 years, we will never be able to put into words how thankful we are to all the staff (especially Sandwich Towne). Mom loved you all, “Queen Jean” has left the building. Jean was a member of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps.
Visitation Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Veterans Memorial Service Wednesday 4 p.m. under the auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service Committee at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Thursday, family and friends are invited to meet after 10 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe St. followed by funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
