Passed away on November 5, 2017 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (nee Baynham)(1990) and is survived by his loving companion Diane Hewitt. Loving Dad to Pat & Annette, Lori & Pierre Meloche, Terry & Betty, Lana & Calvin Matte, Randy & Carole, Tracey & Mike Bezaire. Cherished Grandpa to Christopher, Stephanie, Jeremy, Amy, Dana, Melissa, Nicole, Sarah, Holly, Courtney, and Colt. Dear Great grandpa to Kia, Dayton, Alexia, Caleigh, Nate, Carter, Jace, Addy, and Releigh. Dear brother to Darlene & Clifford “Chick” Trombley, and Doreen Pettypiece. Maynard was a devoted Maintenance employee of Chrysler Canada Local 444 and retired in 1995 after more than 42 years of dedicated service. Maynard was an avid hunter, fisherman, snowmobiler and loved to ride his Harley. Visiting Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral at Families First Funeral Home, 585 Sandwich St., S., Amherstburg (519-969-5841) on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Procession to St. John the Baptist Cemetery to follow.
