The family of Wayne Russell Conroy is saddened to announce his passing. With his wife, Dianna Jean, of 49 years, and their daughter, Christine, at his side, Wayne fell asleep in death. Together they had two children – Christine Amber Pudsey (Brian) of BC and the late Phillip Russell (2003). Cherished grandfather of Alexander and Morgan. Remembered by his sister, Gail Elizabeth Conroy of Windsor. Born in London, Ontario to Stanley and Betty Jean Conroy in 1946, Wayne lived most of his life in Windsor. In 1961, Wayne dedicated his life and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, serving his God faithfully for over 56 years. He looked forward to God’s promise that Jesus spoke of in John 5:28, 29 that there will be a “resurrection of life.” Wayne spent 39 years working for Bell Canada in a variety of roles and used his experience to complete his years in Service Management. After retiring, Wayne used his wealth of knowledge to start his own small business, WRC Communications until November, 2017. The Conroy family expresses their appreciation for the compassionate support of Dr. Jeffrey Price, the doctors and staff of the Windsor Regional Hospital 8th floor Ouellette Campus and 4th floor Metropolitan Campus, and all the loving staff at The Hospice of Windsor. Special thanks to Dr. Sheri Bergeron and Randy Levac.
