It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rocco Pietrangelo, at 89 years of age,on March 1, 2018. Fifteen months was too long to live without his true love. Now reunited with his late wife Christina (2016) with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage. Rocco was a faithful man who was devoted first and foremost to his family. Cherished father of Marianne and Albert Di Pasquale. Loving and devoted grandfather (gramps) to Danielle, Meagan and Natalie. Beloved brother of the late Frank and Susie Pietrangelo and the late Augostino and Sudina Pietrangelo. Brother-in-law to Rose Charles, and the late Ralph Charles. Rocco will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Rocco and his late wife Christina were the proud owners of Rocco’s Fine Foods Ltd. for over 30 years. As well as being a dedicated businessman, Rocco was devoted to his community. He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church, St John the Baptist Ushers group and the Verdi Club. He was a devoted member of Amherstburg Lions Club, Amherstburg Goodfellows, and a former member of Amherstburg Police Commission and Amherstburg Utilities. As well, he volunteered for many years with the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations to St. John the Baptist Restoration Fund, Canada Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke, or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral Service on Tuesday March 6, 2018 leaving FAMILIES FIRST Amherstburg, 585 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg, 519-969-5841. at 10:15 a.m. then proceeding to St. John the Baptist Church for 11:00 am mass.
